From compliance checks to attending industry events, our team has been working tirelessly to make IPv4DAO even better. Recent Updates:
- Marshal Islands Approval: We’re thrilled to announce that our legal entity has passed all compliance checks by MIDAO. This means it will be operational in no time!
- DevCorp Formation: To facilitate protocol development, we established DevCorp in Delaware.
- AWS and GCP Credits: DevCorp secured free AWS and GCP credits, which we’ll be using for testing subnet-NFT routing between data centers.
- IPv6 Subnet Assignments: We’re working on obtaining free IPv6 subnet assignments for DevCorp, as they function similarly to IPv4.
- Testnet Version: Our team is currently developing a testnet version of the protocol that will use IPv6s initially.
- MVP Progress: While we have a basic MVP of the protocol, we’re refining it to make it even better.
- Pool Resource Management Tool: We’ve designed a concept for this tool, but it’s too expensive to run on the mainnet for now. We’ll wait for the main DAO tokens on Polygon.
- ARIN Challenges: We’re experiencing some difficulties setting up an orgid at ARIN, but rest assured, we’re working on resolving them. Interestingly, we’re facing the same issues we’re trying to solve!
- Escrow Smart Contract: Our team is developing an escrow smart contract to ensure trustless subnet acquisition using crypto.
- RIPE Seller: We have identified a potential IPv4 subnet seller in RIPE.
- Industry Events: Our team attended NFT Paris and Paris Blockchain Week Summit in March, keeping up to date with the latest trends and developments.

- Forge meaningful connections with IPv4 brokers and gather their insights.
- Engage more with RIRs and potentially become members.
- Find IPv4 sellers willing to accept crypto for their subnets.
- Continue with LIR creation and IPv6 allocation for DevCorp.
- Complete the development of the escrow smart contract.
DAO & Tokens:
- Organize a Root Token mint event.
- Define tokenomics for the main DAO token.
- Continue developing the pool management tool.
Administrative and Legal:
- Prepare for any notarized documents needed for LIR creation in RIRs.
- Research bank account options.
